Nubar Pasha. The Mixed Courts of Egypt, 1876–1926. Alexandria, Journal des tribunaux mixtes, February 1926. 1 folio volume, in period binding in aubergine half-basane, ribbed spine with gilt title. Cover preserved. Spine sun-faded. Copy no. 995 of an unknown total. Interior clean, a few pinholes on the edge. Numerous black-and-white photographic reproductions, portraits, monuments, 1 colour map. Included is a copy of *La Dernière Egypte* by Ludovic Lepic, Paris, Charpentier 1884, in a contemporary binding of red half-basane with corner caps, ribbed spine bearing author and title, gilt head. Signs of wear; split jaw; fragile spine. Sent by the author with the inscription on the half-title page: ‘To Nubar Pasha, his most devoted, Count Lepic’. Ludovic Napoléon Lepic, Count Lepic, has been the official Painter to the Navy since 1882.
