Geffroy (Gustave) – Brouet (Auguste) *L'apprentie*. Paris: Frédéric Grégoire, publisher, 1924. 1 volume, in-4°, bound in black half-shagreen with corner pieces, ribbed spine with author’s name and title in gold lettering. Covers and spine preserved. Drypoint and black etchings by Auguste Brouet. A print run of 162 copies; this second-paper copy, printed on white vellum, has been enhanced with a second state of the engravings, with a note, not indicated in the proof. The subscription form, accompanied by three engravings, was bound in at the end. Copy free from foxing. Enclosed is an issue of *Les Artistes du livre* devoted to Auguste Brouet, published by Henry Babou in Paris in 1930. Free from foxing; copy no. 205 of 650, printed on white vellum.
