Description
Genevoix (Maurice) – Barret (Gaston) *Raboliot*. Original drypoint engravings by Gaston Barret. Paris, Éditions Vialetay, 1954. 1 substantial in-4° volume, in loose sheets with a slipcase and case. Illustrated with 30 original engravings, including one on the cover, a frontispiece and 19 full-page plates. A print run of 249 copies, each signed by the author and the artist on the proof sheet. This copy, one of 50 printed on Auvergne paper, contains a suite in bistre and two rejected plates. A fine copy with very few foxing spots. Enriched with a beautiful full-page colour watercolour and a signed dedication from the illustrator.
