Genevoix (Maurice) – Soulas (Louis-Joseph) *Raboliot*. Paris: Pierre Fénis, 1928. 1 volume, in-4°, bound in full brown morocco leather with a bordered slipcase, geometric decoration with a mosaic pattern on the covers, gilt tools depicting animals, ribbed spine decorated in the same style with the author’s name and title in gilt. Gilt headband, brown moiré endpapers. Covers and spine preserved (Flammarion binding). Spine sun-faded with normal wear on the upper rib and at the top of the fore-edges. Copy number 747 of 1,000, printed on vellum, with original woodcuts in various tones engraved by Louis-Joseph Soulas. Clean and free from foxing. Also included by the same author: ‘La Dernière Harde’, 1 paperback volume in quarto format in a slipcase, published by Flammarion in Paris in 1942 and illustrated by Joseph Oberthur. Copy no. 41 of the first edition on fine vellum, uncut, in very fresh condition, free from foxing.
