Theuriet (André) – Adan (Emile) *Le Secret de Gertrude*. Paris: Librairie Artistique Launette et Cie, G. Boudet (successor), 1890. 1 large in-4° volume, bound in full havana morocco leather, with a bordered slipcase. Spine with raised bands, author’s name, title and date in gold lettering; gilt head. Beautiful gilt garland framing the front and back endpapers. Covers preserved without the spine. (Bound by Chambolle-Duru). Spine very slightly sun-faded. A deluxe edition; this is one of 25 copies on Japanese paper and bears the number 3. It contains a double set of all the woodcuts printed separately and a triple set in various states of the twelve etched plates. A very fine copy, in perfect condition inside, with a simple and elegant binding by Chambolle-Duru.
