Map of Belle-Île-en-Mer: Map of Bell’Isle divided into parishes. English map drawn by Thomas Kitchin, circa 1761.
Map measuring 24.5 x 19 cm, trimmed flush with the map border on the left-hand margin, less so on the other sides. The outline of the island is highlighted in colour. This larger map differs from Jefferys’ version; a cartouche has been added in the top right-hand corner showing the island’s position relative to the mainland. It was engraved for ‘The London Magazine’
