Map of Belle-Île-en-Mer, showing the island divided into parishes. An English map drawn by Thomas Kitchin, circa 1761.
Identical to the previous one but framed in pichepin with a cold-pressed border. Map 24.5 x 19 cm. The island’s outline is highlighted in colour, with a black border. This larger map differs from Jefferys’ version in that a cartouche has been added in the top right-hand corner showing the island’s position relative to the mainland. It was engraved for *The London Magazine*.
