Description
Collectif Souvenir de la Haute Bretagne. No place, no publisher, undated (circa 1860).
A rare small oblong in-12 album in the publisher’s cardboard binding, with a gilt title on the front cover, containing 30 small colour lithographs of costumes from Upper Brittany in the form of a panoramic fold-out. A pleasant copy in good condition with some signs of wear and a few foxing spots. Included is one in-12 paperback volume by Herpin entitled *Au pays des légendes* (In the Land of Legends), published in Rennes by Caillière in 1901. A rare copy printed on Imperial Japanese paper, no. 12 of only 25, the only large-format paper used in this edition.
