Dubouchet (Gustave) – Dubouchet (Henri-Joseph) *Le Mont-Saint-Michel*, text, drawings and etchings by Dubouchet father and son. Paris, Plon Booksellers, 1888. 1 volume, large quarto, bound in full midnight blue morocco, ribbed spine with author’s name, title, date and fleurons in gold, gilt head. Covers framed with gilt fillets, small decorative gilt ironwork in the spandrels. Inside covers framed by a gilt garland. Binding signed but illegible. Covers preserved without the spine. Slight wear to the corners from normal handling. Bookplate of Mr Cyrille Robineau. One of 25 copies in the first edition printed on Japanese paper, with no foxing; the separate etchings bear annotations. A very fine copy in a classically styled binding, superbly executed.
