Le Braz (Anatole) – Péters-Destéract (Albert) – *Au pays des pardons*. Paris, *Collection Éclectique*, Blaizot, Kieffer, 1912. 1 substantial in-4° volume, bound in full chocolate-coloured morocco with a edged slipcase. Ribbed spine with author’s name and title in gold lettering; an inlaid plaque on each cover in light brown morocco featuring a geometric mosaic, with a gilded head. Each endpaper is lined with a black engraving on silk depicting a scene of Breton life, framed in morocco leather with gilt fillets. (Bound by René Kieffer). Cover and spine preserved. A rare work, printed in a run of only 150 copies; this copy, from the first edition, bears the number 36 and is accompanied by the three states of the etchings. The volume contains 35 exquisite etchings, 33 in three states, the last two in two states within the volume; however, it is these last two that have been printed on silk and mounted on the reverse of the covers. A superb copy in a very well-executed binding, free from foxing.
