FURGOLE (J.-B.). ORDINANCE OF LOUIS XV, King of France and Navarre, establishing the law regarding the nature, form, encumbrances and conditions of donations, issued at Versailles in February 1731. Toulouse, Birosse, 1761. Two volumes in-4, in marbled fawn sheepskin, decorated ribbed spine, title and volume number labels, red edges (contemporary binding). Scattered brown waterstains, not affecting the text, on the upper margin of part of the main text of both volumes; not serious. SECOND EDITION, revised, corrected and considerably expanded. PORTRAIT of Furgole engraved as a frontispiece. From the ‘J.-T. MALGOUYRE’ LIBRARY, with a printed bookplate and a hand-drawn bookplate in pen. A COPY with an intact binding, in a remarkably fresh condition.
