Posthumous first edition, printed in a run of only 210 copies, all on Holland paper, numbered, published by Léonie Duchet, the author’s great-granddaughter. 15 separate engravings reproduce old prints and documents; there are also drawings within the text. The publisher took great care with this publication: the choice of paper, format, typography, initials and ornamentation combine to form a magnificent volume. The *Perrot de St.-Angel* is an essential work for the history of Montluçon as well as for the study of economic developments in the Bourbonnais region. (Not in Saffroy).
