Mainz, Joseph Halenza, (circa 1860); oblong 8vo album, title printed in blue, 22 steel-engraved plates (approx. 22 x 15 cm each), protected by a bluish silk paper sleeve. Publisher’s brown percaline binding, with embossed Rococo decoration on the cover and a gold-lettered title. – ‘Ex-dono’ written in ink on the endpaper. Minor foxing or marginal stains on the plates; binding detached from the blocks, but in good condition. 22 beautiful views, most of them featuring moving scenes (ships, trains, etc.), depicting the picturesque towns and sites along the Rhine. They were all drawn and engraved by F.
