Two works in one in-8 volume, 14.5 x 20.5 cm, 4 + 88 + 3 ff., 1 blank folio & 4 + 187 + 1 folio, 19th-century binding in brown half-basane, spine decorated with blind-stamped faux raised bands. A collection of two rare works published in Venice by Sansovino. The first Italian edition of Palladius and the first edition of Tatti. The second work is illustrated with 240 woodcuts of plants. Beautiful woodcut initials in the first work. Fine printer’s marks. Very fine copies. Extensive handwritten marginal notes in ink, probably from the early 19th century, in Italian in the first volume. A few old notes in ink and a few in pencil from the 19th century in the second volume. A marginal worm-eaten area in quires C to K of the second volume. Quires very slightly out of block.
