First editions of the *Preuve des litanies…* of Saint Radegonde and the second part of the work on the University of Poitiers, by Jean Filleau. Illustrated with a frontispiece title page bearing the coat of arms of the Duke of La Rochefoucauld, to whom the edition is dedicated, and a frontispiece portrait of the author by Bachelier; as well as a frontispiece portrait of Saint Radegonde and a plate in *La Preuve des litanies…*, all finely engraved in intaglio. A fine copy. Early signature ‘B. des Clairets’ on the title page. Foxing and some water stains; many leaves uniformly browned. Missing the flying endpapers.
