First edition of the first work published by Charles Bonnet. The first part is devoted to aphids and contains his observations which would lead to his discovery of parthenogenesis. The second part deals with freshwater worms and the regenerative phenomena of these animals. Illustrated with 8 plates engraved by Haussard.
