First edition. The work was supplemented by a fifth volume by Charles Aubé, devoted to hydrocanthars and published between 1836 and 1838. Missing the title pages and half-titles of the four volumes of text. Illustrated with 223 engraved and finely watercoloured plates. A good copy.
