First edition of the most comprehensive treatise on hunting of the 17th century. ‘A very well-crafted work, highly intriguing and much sought-after’ (Le Couteulx de Canteleu. La vénerie française). Good condition. Contemporary signature on the title page and the last leaf of text. From the hunting library of Javier López de Ceballos (1945–2023), with his bookplate.
