First edition edited by Charles du Moulin. Without the engraved frontispiece portrait of the dedicatee. A fine copy. Signature of Aimé de la Fontenelle de Vaudoré (1748–1795) on the title pages. Coat of arms of the de La Fontenelle family, no doubt affixed by Armand Désiré de La Fontenelle de Vaudoré (1784–1847), historian of the Vendée and founding member of the Société des antiquaires de l’Ouest.
