Delatour, 1764. 2 volumes in-4, 19.5 x 26 cm, XVI + XLVIII + 430 pp., XIII folded plates & XIV + 431–708 pp., XIV–XXXVI folded plates, contemporary binding in marbled fawn calfskin, spine ribbed and decorated with gilt motifs. First edition of this work, which forms the fourth part of the *Traité des bois et forêts*. Illustrated with 36 folded engraved plates. A fine copy, from the natural history library of Gilbert Dufaux (dry-stamped on the title pages and p. 39). Old library call number in brown ink on the half-titles. A few stains, faint foxing. Small areas of paper loss affecting the text and marginal stains on pp. 457–458.
