Bertrand’s work, illustrated with 7 engraved plates, is devoted to meadow irrigation techniques and their significance for the rural economy. The second is a treatise on Burgundian agronomy by Edmé Béguillet (1729–1786), an agronomist, lawyer and notary from Dijon. The third is a pamphlet on mole control and the construction of a trap, illustrated with an engraved plate.
