SCÈVE (Maurice). *Delie*. *Objet de plus haute vertu*. Love poems by Maurice Seve, of Lyon. Lyon, Scheuring, 1862. An in-8 volume, full Lavallière morocco, spine with five raised bands, gilt head, gilt lace on the inside (binding signed E. Thomas). Slight fading on the frontispiece, otherwise a fine copy.
A fine edition printed by Louis Perrin, with a print run of 205 copies. It is adorned with a portrait of Maurice Scève on the frontispiece, a coat of arms, the title page from the 1544 edition and 50 emblematic vignettes.
