Louise Catherine BRESLAU (1856–1927), a German painter and lithographer who became a Swiss national. Signed autograph letter, addressed to ‘Monsieur Masson, Director of L’Estampe Moderne [on the attached autograph envelope]. Paris, 8 August 1898. 2 pages in-12 (slight crease marks in 4). She grants her correspondent ‘the requested authorisation’, and would be happy to correspond with him ‘regarding [his] interesting publication; I have recently made a few lithographic prints which I believe are of interest and which might perhaps suit [him].’
