Description
[Artist’s book]. YOUL (born 1947). Composition in ink wash and coloured paint, with a plant fragment and an animal fragment (snake skin?) glued onto a sheet of laid paper, 15 x 61 cm.
Signed, dated 2007 and numbered 2/3 by the artist.
Housed in a grey fibre paper cover, with a stick forming the hinge and a green leather clasp. The cover is adorned with an original mixed-media composition.
The work has all the hallmarks of an unfinished ‘book poor’ that is simply awaiting a poet’s contribution.
Two further similar, blank covers are included, each featuring an original composition on the front cover.
