THEATRE XIXth-XXth. Lot of autograph and typescript documents relating to the theatrical milieu of the 19th and 20th centuries and modern literature. -Hugues DELORME (1868-1942), a lively poet, humorist, journalist and playwright who was close to both Montmartre circles and Théodore de Banville. "Tortue". Poetry read by M. Laffon at the matinées poétiques of the Comédie-Française (1st December 1923). Typescript on tracing paper with annotations in violet ink in the author's hand, signed with his claw. 2 ff. format large in-4, glued together by a corner. Slightly creased. A very pretty metaphorical poem about a tortoise...Considered unpublished today. -Alphonse SÉCHÉ (1876-1964), writer, poet and journalist. Small L.A.S. in pencil, on Comédie française letterhead. 2 pp. Slightly creased and soiled. Small communication with perhaps his publisher, mentioning his Parables which do not seem to be suitable in particular for the "Fratellini"... -Octave FEUILLET (1821-1890), the "Musset of families", novelist and playwright. 2 L.A.S., in-18 format, (Paris), date of 1873 added later in pencil, one of which on mourning border letter. In connection with his play l'Acrobate, which was performed in the 1870s and later published, on the problems of rehearsal and interpretation, probably aimed at female performers. FRENCH COMEDY. POETRY.
