Description
DRUON, Maurice: *Les rois maudits*. Published by Cino del Duca, Paris, 1955–1960. Complete first edition (the seventh and final volume was published much later, in 1977). One of 50 copies on pure-fibre paper, the only large-format edition (one of 20 hardbacks). The first five volumes are inscribed by Druon to André Bernheim. Six volumes in loose-leaf in-8 format, in a slipcase and a full-paper slipcase with a decorative pattern. Spines yellowed, as is always the case, but otherwise in fine overall condition. An extremely rare edition on large-format paper of this famous novel and television saga.
