13 large 8vo volumes, some quite substantial. Contemporary Italian half-vellum with small corners, smooth spines adorned with title labels and volume numbers in fawn and red sheepskin, decorated with gilt scrolls and fillets, gilt titles (some wear and minor losses to the bindings, uneven foxing on the text, the plates remaining fresh on the whole, a few minor marginal tears, one volume number plate damaged).
Genuine second edition, printed in large 8vo format in Florence.
