His demonstrations are illustrated with intriguing engravings of putti conducting various experiments on the attraction of magnetic bodies and the theory of magnetism Illustrated with a frontispiece, 7 black-and-white copperplate engravings—two of which feature astronomical figures—and 24 black-and-white copperplate engravings within the text by F. Rousseuille. Only three entries in the CCFr (including the copy held by the Prytanée militaire de La Flèche). Sommervogel, III, 1668-1. GEOMAGNETISM. EMBLEMATA. Sommervogel, III, 1668-1.
