An intriguing album bringing together numerous stamps and postcards with stamps, alongside many black-and-white engravings taken from periodicals or publications of the time, illustrating different countries around the world throughout the pages.

Some pages feature several dozen stamps of the same face value.
Numerous ‘briefkaarten’ or envelopes with stamps.
Some pages are bare of stamps; these may have been removed.
The stamps are cancelled.
Names have been redacted on most of the cards or envelopes.
