VIEW OF SAINT PETERSBURG View taken in St Petersburg. Engraved by Dubois, published by Courvoisier. Paris, second half of the 18th century Copperplate engraving, coloured in watercolour. 32.5 x 53 cm. Mounted in a passe-partout. Good condition. Slight soiling; tears have been mended. The engraving is one of the ‘optical views’, intended to be viewed through a special viewing box.
