RÖRICH N.K. (1874–1947), AUTOGRAPH Autograph letter addressed to Denis Roche in Paris. 26 January 1908 3 pages on a double sheet, envelope. 17.7 x 11.5 cm. Envelope with postmarks. He expresses his enthusiasm upon reading the recipient’s article and asks for his opinion on the set designs for the production of ‘Snegurochka’ [The Snow Maiden]. Denis Roche (1868–1951), a French writer and translator, translated works by Chekhov, Shmelev, Nabokov and many others into French. He worked to promote Russian art in France and knew many prominent figures of the time (Grabar, Rörich, Tenicheva, etc.).
