He is best known for his involvement in the assassination of Grigori Rasputin in 1916. He married Grand Duchess Irina Alexandrovna, niece of Emperor Nicholas II.
A rare early edition of Youssoupoff’s account of Rasputin, seldom seen on the antiquarian book market.
