SET OF TWO ARMCHAIRS KNOWN AS ‘OFFICE CANE CHAIRS’ by Pierre JEANNERET (1896–1967) Made of teak, with a sloping, gently curved backrest. Detached, contoured armrests on a compass-style side base. Straight backrest attached to the seat, with a wide, tapered side upright. Seat and backrest with restored cane weaving; slight variations between the two chairs. Circa 1954. H: 75 x W: 51 x D: 45 cm approx.
