Original pen-and-ink DRAWING on a centrefold folio page, depicting a busy town square with many amusing and satirical scenes, including monks in a cart, an overturned carriage with a woman with her skirts raised, a barber's stall behind which characters are showing their buttocks, a cook chasing a cat with a broom, a building with the sign "A la bonne eau", where on the upper floor you can see a banquet of monks accompanied by courtesans, elegant women arriving in carriages accompanied by gentlemen, a platform of musicians, figures busy in three large tubs, a counter serving drinks, etc., all accompanied by handwritten annotations in which the author or commissioner gives his opinion on possible modifications and indications of colours.
