Colt Model 1872 conversion, .44 centre-fire calibre. Approximately 70% of the nickel plating remains. All mechanisms function well, customised front sight. The two ‘Patent’ lines are clearly visible on the left side of the frame. Calibre marked on the trigger guard, Colt line on the barrel complete and clearly visible. All parts bear the same serial number, including the slide. Ejector spring is firm, chambers in very good condition. The barrel retains approximately 50% of its engraving; barrel rifling is very clear. American walnut grip panels with some signs of wear. Leather case dating from the 1960s/70s. Category D.
