Description
Mementoes from Dixmude and a fragment of the Lampernisse bell. A fragment of molten metal from the Lampernisse bell, in the Dixmude area. The church was bombed in December 1914, then blown up by the Belgian Engineers in August 1915. This piece of the bell was recovered following these events. Two letter openers engraved with ‘Dixmude’. Signs of wear and patina. Diksmuide souvenirs and a fragment of the Lampernisse bell. A fragment of melted metal from the bell of Lampernisse, in the Diksmuide area.
