Belgian paratrooper’s uniform. 1940-model Battle Dress jacket, with a cotton label from the manufacturer H. Edgard and Sons Ltd dated 1945 and a War Department stamp bearing the letter Z, corresponding to the same year. Size 7. Amaranth collar insignia with light blue edging. Pegasus insignia on each sleeve. Parachutist’s badge embroidered on khaki fabric at the top of the right sleeve. Winged sword insignia on each epaulette. A cord in the colours of the Croix de Guerre around the left shoulder. Good condition. Comes with a pair of Battle Dress trousers with no visible label or markings. Cotton and flannel lining at the small of the back. In good overall condition, with signs of wear and patina.
