United Kingdom, set of two helmets for passive defence and the fire service. A Zuckerman-type helmet, manufactured by SPC and dating from 1941, intended for the British civil defence force. Painted khaki, it was reconditioned for the Dutch civil defence force in the 1950s. Complete with liner and chin strap. A black fibre helmet with a crest, bearing the manufacturer’s NP logo beneath the visor and a sticker from Holland County Council in Lincolnshire, dating from the 1960s–1970s. Complete with liner and chin strap. Signs of wear and patina. United Kingdom, set of two civil defence and firefighter helmets. A Zuckerman-type helmet made by SPC and dated 1941 for British civil defence. Painted khaki, it was refurbished for Dutch civil defence in the 1950s. With liner and chinstrap.
