Chauchat supplier’s knapsack and haversack. A rare Chauchat machine-gunner’s knapsack, made of canvas reinforced with leather, with an openwork iron frame inside. Manufacturer’s and acceptance stamps from 1917 under the flap. Name on the flap: Walter Hagey. The fastening straps are detached from the flap, as is part of the peripheral leather reinforcement; one of the upper leather loops is missing. The shoulder straps are present. A fine, well-preserved Chauchat haversack in good condition. Signs of normal wear and patina. Chauchat light machine gun ammunition carrier’s backpack and haversack. A rare Chauchat light machine gunner’s backpack made of canvas reinforced with leather. Complete with its internal openwork iron frame. Manufacturer’s and 1917 acceptance stamps beneath the flap. The name ‘Walter Hagey’ is written on the flap. The fastening straps have come away from the flap, along with part of the leather reinforcement around the edge.
