Description
Set of KAGGR1 equipment. The set comprises a cachou canvas bread bag, issued to the KAGGR1 Fusilier Battalion in 1910; one button is missing from one loop, and the other loop is frayed. A 98-05 leather bayonet scabbard, clearly marked ‘KAGGR1’ on the back, and an M1909 cartridge pouch with brass fittings, made by a Cologne-based manufacturer in 1915, marked ‘KBAG 1915’ under the central flap and ‘KAGGR1 1915’ on another. Signs of wear and patina. KAGGR1 equipment set. Includes a brown canvas bread bag accepted by the Fusilier Battalion of KAGGR1 in 1910; one button is missing and another loop is frayed. Leather S98/05 bayonet frog, regimental mark KAGGR1 on the back. M1909 ammunition pouch with brass fittings, made in Cologne in 1915 and marked KBAG 1915 and KAGGR1 1915. Wear and patina.
