German M16 Stahlhelm helmet manufactured by Lindenberg. A fine helmet with most of its dark feldgrau paintwork intact. Lindenberg manufacturer’s logo on the crown; size illegible, 62 or 64. Original fixed 1917-model iron headband, rivets never removed. Liner with its three white leather panels, showing signs of wear and perspiration, complete with laces and padding, in its original condition. Patina and signs of normal wear. German M1916 Stahlhelm by Lindenberg. A fine helmet retaining most of its dark field-grey paint. Lindenberg bell maker’s logo, size illegible, possibly 62 or 64. Original 1917-pattern iron liner band with undisturbed rivets. Three white leather liner panels showing wear and perspiration, with lace and cushions. Wear and patina.
