DINKY TOYS - FRANCE (6)
21 FREIGHT TRAIN SET. Complete box of the first type from the Hornby Series in red, rarer than the box shown in the illustration. In exceptional condition, almost as good as new! Complete! (The crane hook and the couplings on each wagon are all present). Set measures 15.5 cm by 8.5 cm. Each item measures approximately 7.5 cm (scale of approximately 1/100). Lead models with spoked wheels. The set includes:
- 21A Type 030 steam locomotive, blue and red
- 21B log wagon, yellow and red
- 21C green and red open wagon
- 21D green open-top crane wagon with a blue platform. It is interesting to note that these shades of green and blue were also used on a few models from the extremely rare and sought-after 23/24/25 series!
An essential model for any complete Dinky collection: this is where it all began!
Box shows wear to the edges, some stains and slight oxidation.
Condition: A-/B.c.
