24N CITROËN 11BL (Traction Avant), metallic grey, black zamac wheels, flat boot. AN EXTREMELY RARE AND LEGENDARY MODEL! The first version of the famous Dinky Traction, which went on to become an absolute best-seller. This rare variant is characterised by a STRAIGHT front side member (between the bumper and the wheel axle), which was soon to be replaced by a curved version (known as the ‘ski’ design) to reinforce this area, as the bumper was fragile. Chassis with small lettering, V-shaped headlights, smooth rear bumper (without a reinforcing strip).
Finding a grey 11BL with zamac wheels in this condition is already a challenge, and in this version it is exceptional. Serious collectors can even count the number of models in superb condition, such is the scarcity of known examples.
A few faint scuffs (on the edges of the wings and protruding parts) barely visible on this grey colour, with some black paint missing from the wheels.
