Sheet dimensions (including margins): from 56 x 45 cm to 65 x 82 cm.
The set is in very good condition. There are only a few signs of wear here and there in the margins, with rare foxing or small marginal tears that do not affect the compositions.
Goupil & Cie, founded in Paris in 1829, was one of the leading art publishers and dealers of the 19th century, specialising in the distribution of prints and reproductions of works of art. Towards the end of the century, its activities were taken over by Manzi-Joyant & Cie, renowned for its luxury illustrated editions and its innovations in photogravure.
