Description
Germanic two-handed sword known as a zweihander. Iron frame. Piriform pommel, guard with two rings and curved quillons. Turned wooden spindle. Strong blade with leather-covered ricasso, two powerful lugs then flattened and double-edged. Total length: 176 cm. Work in the style of 1580, probably Viollet le Duc (exception of the wood and leather).
