A pair of Model No. 41 chairs in bent and turned beech; the rectangular backrest features a hollowed-out semicircular decoration, the seat in plywood with a foliage motif, resting on two turned front legs and two sabre-shaped rear legs joined by an arched crossbar. Brand marks burnt into the inside of the seat rim: THONET AUSTRIA and K.K.S.T.B (Austro-Hungarian Railway Company) 1896. Early 20th century. 90 x 41 x 41 cm. (scratches on the wood, signs of wear).
