A pair of armchairs in moulded wood, with rectangular backs, curved armrests decorated with acanthus leaves and terminating in crozier-shaped scrolls; the armrests’ consoles are turned in the baluster style, resting on four baluster-turned legs connected by an H-shaped brace and a front cross-bar, also turned in the baluster style. The wool upholstery is decorated with scenes from the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Louis XIII style, 20th century. 115 x 65 x 54 cm. (signs of wear, restored).
