A pair of silver-plated bronze figures, signed and marked ‘Christofle & Cie’, numbered 1731953 and 1548106. Base in red griotte marble, moulded with a square plinth; one bears a gilded cartouche with the inscription ‘Regional Horticultural Competition, Annecy, 1892, awarded to Mr Nicolas Druz of Gaillard’. 45 x 18 x 18 cm A rare pair of pieces on the theme of horticulture by Christofle.
