A rare and magnificent glass perfume bottle, with a plique-à-jour decoration in silver and polychrome enamels depicting flowers and oriental-style motifs, by Georg Adam SCHEID (1838–1921) in Vienna, circa 1865, marked ‘GAS’ beneath the mount, H. 6.5, Diam. 4.7 cm. (some soiling and one small chip in the enamel).
