Santiago Sahli Taitao 6 Wheel-thrown terracotta, with an engobe made from liquid porcelain and ground oak leaves. Finished with natural oils. H22 L24 cm Wheel-thrown terracotta, comprising four hand-shaped elements: two main pieces — the base and the shade/reflector, which can be interchanged in the upper or lower position —, an internal mounting fixed to the reflector, and a funnel-shaped bulb holder integrated into the base. Experimental engobe made from liquid porcelain and chopped oak leaves, harvested in autumn in Madrid. Finished with natural oils. Technical specifications: Dimmable, battery-powered GU10 bulb with adjustable brightness. Power: 5 W / Colour temperature: 2700 K Luminous flux: 345 lm CRI: >80 / Voltage: 12 V / Beam angle: 36º Taitao 6 comprises four hand-turned and hand-assembled components: a base, an interchangeable reflector shade that can be positioned high or low, an internal mounting bracket and a funnel-shaped bulb holder. Its experimental glaze incorporates oak leaves gathered in Madrid in the autumn, the burning of which leaves an unpredictable organic texture on the surface. As it is cordless, the lamp can be moved freely from one table to another. A unique piece that combines the craftsmanship of the potter’s wheel with research into natural materials, in the spirit of contemporary Spanish artisanal design.
